For decades, Tamisha Iman’s life and career have been intertwined with the lived experiences of the trans community. From pageantry to entertainment to family mentorship, Tamisha has stood as a cultural matriarch, an advocate, and a protector of individuals navigating one of the most challenging times in modern American history.
Today, the transgender community in the United States faces unprecedented pressures — legislation restricting healthcare access, rising violence against trans individuals, economic instability, discrimination in employment and housing, and limited access to affirming resources. For many, support systems are fractured or nonexistent.
This is why the TINc Organization exists.
TINc is the official nonprofit arm of the Tamisha Iman Network — a legally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to uplifting, protecting, and supporting transgender and gender-expansive individuals. Our mission is grounded in three core pillars:
1. Safety & Support
We provide resources, connections, and emergency relief where possible, ensuring individuals have access to guidance, advocacy, and a trusted network. In a political environment where trans lives are under attack, safe and affirming spaces are not optional — they are essential.
2. Visibility & Empowerment
TINc amplifies stories, experiences, and achievements within the trans community through media, programs, and public platforms. Visibility saves lives. Representation changes outcomes. And empowerment builds the next generation of leaders.

Through mentorship, outreach, and digital support systems, we bridge gaps by connecting individuals to vital services, encouragement, and community engagement. Many trans people lack family support — TINc exists to ensure no one has to navigate their journey alone.
